(proper scrambled eggs - no milk or microwaves!)
Poached Eggs on Toast
Omelette (plain, bacon or mushroom)
Boiled Eggs and Soldiers

We use Devon sausages and dry-cured bacon sourced from a Paignton butcher whenever possible. Our eggs are free-range, and come from a Devon farm. Our fruit salad is home-prepared from fresh fruit sourced from a local greengrocer.
Vegetarians
Vegetarians will be catered for to the best of our ability – if you advise us in advance, we will be able to better prepare for vegetarian guests. Please discuss other dietary requirements with us in advance.
Evening Meal
Occasional evening meals are available upon request, and will be home-cooked from high-quality fresh ingredients. Please ask us by 10:00 on the day if you would like a meal prepared. The cost of an evening meal will be approximately £12.50 per person for two courses, depending on your choice of meal.
Sandwiches are also available upon request. These are freshly prepared with a selection of fillings, crisps, yogurt, fresh fruit and a drink, and cost £5 per person.
Guests are welcome to bring takeaway evening meals into the guest house. We would ask you to consume takeaway food in the dining room where we will provide crockery and cutlery. St Marguerite is not a licensed guest house - if you wish to consume your own alcohol either with a meal or in your room, you are welcome to do so. We can offer wine or beer glasses if required, as well as a corkscrew and ice.
